Giuseppe Tarasconi

Milano 1899

A pupil of Gaetano Rossi, he opened his own workshop in Milan where he traded and repaired stringed instruments, often collaborating with the Bisiach family, which animated the Milanese market in those years.

In the construction of his personal instruments Tarasconi adopts an individual style which is distinguished by the elongated design of the “f”s and by the orange-brown color of the varnish.

This violin is a characteristic example of that period and is in excellent condition, of excellent workmanship and acoustic performance. The instrument is original in all its parts and comes with a certificate.
